The pledge is a voluntary commitment. Signing the Fair Layoff Pledge is a public, voluntary statement of intent. It is not a certification, an audit or a legal guarantee. We don't check that a signing organization keeps each promise, and a listing in the directory is not an endorsement.

Signing for an organization. By signing, you confirm you are authorized to commit your organization to the five promises. You also confirm that the information you give us is accurate. We may decline a submission, and we may remove an organization from the directory if its information proves inaccurate or it asks to be removed.

Who runs this site. The Fair Layoff Pledge is an initiative of the Job Seeker's Union, an advocacy organization. It is not a labor organization under the National Labor Relations Act, does not engage in collective bargaining, and does not represent employees in dealings with employers. It has no dues and no formal membership.
